Overview
Beckley ARH Hospital opened its doors Jan. 4, 1956, as one of the original nine Miners Memorial Hospital Association facilities.
The acute care hospital is a 173-bed (including 60 psychiatric beds) facility located in southern West Virginia’s largest city. Among the services it provides to residents of Raleigh and surrounding counties, are home health, oncology, gynecology, ENT, general surgery, cardiology, gastroenterology, sleep care, cardiac rehabilitation and orthopedics.
Additionally, Beckley ARH operates the ARH Southern West Virginia Clinic, ARH Beaver Family Clinic, the ARH Medical Mall and Rejuvenation Center, ARH Gastroenterology and both a retail and specialty pharmacy, The hospital is a designated Level IV Trauma Center and, in 2023, received accreditation as a DNV Primary Stroke Center.
