Integrated Health Centers of West Virginia
Community Health Center
Overview
Integrated Health Centers of West Virginia (IHCWV) was established in 1994 as part of a pilot school-based health center program. Based in Ritchie County High School, IHCWV offered health care services to students, staff, and teachers. Today, IHCWV offers primary care services at eight campuses across Doddridge, Pleasants, Ritchie, and Wood Counties. In addition to being primary care centers, six of IHCWV’s campuses are also designated as School-Based Health Centers (SBHC). These clinics are located within school grounds and can support the schools (teachers, students, staff); however, they are also open to provide clinical services to the student’s parents and the community-at-large. Integrated Health Centers of West Virginia is designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center and as such, is directed by a board comprised of patients and community members.
